Bristol-based international exhibition specialist Clip UK has announced the return of senior team member Richard Proctor as Senior Client Relationship Manager following a two-year break.

Decade of Expertise in Energy Sector Events

During his previous ten-year tenure at Clip, Richard managed key accounts within the oil and gas sector, delivering complex, large-scale stands at major international trade shows:

  • Global Event Deliveries: Overseeing installations at the Australasian Oil & Gas Conference (Perth), Oceanology (London), OTC (Houston), and ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi).

  • Offshore Europe Flagship Projects: Managing 15 client displays at Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, including a custom 230-square-metre stand build for Houston-based wellhead provider Dril-Quip.

Expanding Client Coverage in the North and Aberdeen

Operating from bases in Yorkshire and Edinburgh, Richard takes charge of managing and developing Clip’s existing and prospective client accounts across the North of England and Scotland:

  • Sector Focus: Supporting energy and industrial clients as they realign their event marketing strategies in shifting economic climates.

  • Regional Support: Providing dedicated, local client relationship management for northern accounts.

“We are delighted to welcome Richard back. His extensive experience in the oil and gas sector makes him the ideal lead as energy companies evaluate their promotional activities. It is fantastic that businesses throughout the North of England and Scotland will benefit from his industry expertise.”
