The team at Clip UK participated in a series of fundraising challenges and events, raising a grand total of £1,679 for national and local charities.
Overcoming Obstacles for Blind Veterans UK
In March, nine Clip staff members from the UK and German offices took on the Battle of Lansdown, a grueling 10km obstacle course through extreme terrain in the South West countryside.
The team raised £425.57 via JustGiving for Blind Veterans UK. The challenge was completed in memory of Mark Erwood, a valued Clip employee and dedicated supporter of the charity who passed away suddenly earlier in the year.
Walking for St. Peter’s Hospice
In July, Bristol team members Jean Barrett, Louise Stallard, Julie Hendy, Pamela Lea, Lyn Thatcher, Zoe Pagington, and Claire Yoxall completed a 10-mile Midnight Walk across Bristol. Their nighttime trek raised £1,086 for St. Peter’s Hospice, supporting local end-of-life care.
Community Support for Macmillan
Clip also hosted and sponsored a local coffee morning as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, bringing team members together to raise an additional £157.28.
“We are always keen to support charities and our local community. I am extremely proud of the Clip team and deeply grateful to everyone who sponsored our efforts. The charities we supported are very close to our hearts and make a real difference in people’s lives.”
